Al Aqsa School is celebrating brilliant GCSE results and many exceptional individual performances. The grades achieved illustrates that students can be very successful at Al Aqsa School whatever their starting point when they arrive at the school.

Students rose to that challenge with 78% of students gaining a standard pass (grades 9-4) in both English and Mathematics. Also, 100% gaining standard pass in Arabic, English Language, English Literature, R.E. Science, Sociology and Spanish.

The Department for Education uses a measure called Attainment 8 to compare GCSE outcomes. This score indicates performance in the best 8 subjects. Alhamdulillah, Al Aqsa School students achieved a score of 60. Nationally in 2017 this was 44. These indicators place Al Aqsa School for its GCSE outcomes as one of the leading schools at a national level.

We are proud of these results, they are a testament to the incredible hard work put in by our students, staff and parents – all that hard work has really paid off! We look forward to working with our students, parents and staff to build on this fantastic success. In sha Allah.
