Weekly Hadiths – Sabr and Patience

Posted on

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “The example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant; from whatever direction the wind comes, it bends it, but when the wind becomes quiet, it becomes straight again. Similarly, a believer is afflicted with calamities (but he remains patient till Allah removes his difficulties.) And an impious wicked person is like a pine tree which keeps hard and straight till Allah cuts (breaks) it down when He wishes.”
Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 70 Hadith 547

There are 2 ways Sabr and Istigfar

May Allah grant us sabr and may Allah help us increase our imaan

Abu Hurairah (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (SallaAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said,

On every person’s joints or small bones (i.e. fingers and toes), there is sadaqah (charity) every day the sun rises. Doing justice between two people is sadaqah; assisting a man to mount his animal, or lifting up his belongings onto it is sadaqah; a good word is sadaqah; every step you take towards prayer is sadaqah; and removing harmful things from pathways is sadaqah.

Remember no matter what small or big good deeds you do it will be in the form of barakat and sadqa.

“do not speak about things that do not concern you for indeed every time what you speak a word it takes control of you and you do not have any control over it” – Imam al – Shafi

Destiny – Taqdeer
Always keep faith in Allah and see the fruits of patience

whatever Allah has written we will get and Allah has said even if you are poor you are not poor its because of the amount of wealth that you will get which is written by Allah
In today’s society when one is a millionaire it is not because he is a millionaire by his hard work but because it is written by Allah. Allah wrote for the person to get wealth. Why are we stressed?
we should try hard to earn halal roze (wealth) Allah likes those who earn wealth by earning halal roze and via the way of trying as well and also to working hard in life is sunnat of our prophet ﷺ
earning wealth is ibadat and it is ibabdat of Allah and wealth will not increase but you will continue getting wealth because is is written in taqdeer by Allah.
There is a beautiful dua to ask Allah for wealth
oh Allah I accept whatever you will give me and to continue giving me.
Allah will like it so much he will give you more wealth.

helping others
there is something i remember using practically that hazrat e Isa alaihis salaam said “always help those who are in need” a beautiful guidance given by prophet Isa alaihis salaam
It is clear from this that helping others is connected to a believer’s worship of God
Moreover, there is a clear reward for a person who aids another, both in this world and in the next
It is clear from the above hadith that helping others is not optional but a religious duty.
